How long can you use a nutrient solution?

I will try Coco as a medium on my next grow. My question is about the nutrient solution How long can I use a pre-mixed nutrient solution?My plan would be to mix up a 30L (8gal) container with a tap and then water the plants with it for several days.

Hi buddy you can do this. though I would only recommend doing this if you have a small water pump or air pump with air stones to keep the water moving while its stood still. if you dont have any movement in the water the chances of your feed going stangnant are quite high also you have chances of mold and scum forming on the top of your feed if the water isnt moving. best of luck budd i would advise doing it at maybe 10L batches. I use a 100L reservoir though i have a water pump and air stones in there :) best of luck buddy

You shelf life after mixing will vary by brand but a week is probably a good rule of thumb to go by if you don't want to worry about pumps and such as previous people have mentioned. It all kinda depends on how many plants you're feeding. Early on 8 gal is gonna be overkill and when they get big it might only cover a single feeding anyway. I'm currently using about 6 gal for my 6 flowering plants about every 3 days(in coco 5 gal pots) to achieve runnoff for reference.

You have to keep in mind, that your water could spoil at some point. 30 L could be standing there for weeks and without proper movement of the fluid you could get some mold or bakteria formation. To keet from being contaminated with harmful microbes I would suggest some kind of air pump.
And at the beginning i wouldn‘t fill up the whole tank. 👍🏻
