I have transplanted autos with no issues before and also with bigger issues, I now don't transplant them. If you wanted to transplant them though be gentle and don't damage any of the roots. Good Luck!

agree, shouldn't need more than 1 transplant for an auto and should be large enough for the rest of the grow - around 3 gallons or a bit smaller is probablay fine for the timeframe of a typical auto. If you are consistent at not disturbing the rootball during transplant, shouldn't slow it down at all.

My advice would be to only transplant after seedling stage and early veg ~ after a few nodes are showing, so that it's somewhat established both above and under ground, no later than 3rd week from sprout Suggestion would be pot into final container Happy growing buddy !!
