Seedling "grafting" techniques

Does anyone here have experience with seedling grafting, where you plant 2 or more plants in the same container, and fuse the stems, so it effectively becomes a single plant? I want to explore this technique, but have found only a single pic/topic, please share your experience!

Entirely possible, but you will need to be precise. Have grown a three stain plant before, but I would never bother again, just grow 3 plants, it is a lot easier and a lot quicker. Robert Connell Clarke in his book "Cannabis Botany" describes how to do it.

Quick google says grafting between sexes is possible on other dioecious plants like trees. So new question, would a male root system be beneficial/detrimental/ or do nothing at all to the plant vs a female root system.

I have thought about doing this. their is a lot of information on grafting other plants like tomatoes and such but they are not dioecious "separate male and female plants" They do this mainly for disease resistance in tomatoes. I don't know if the same will translate to cannabis, its all so interbred. let alone auto vs photoperiod. Could also try some of it with home made seeds. would be best to turn one plant male and then pollinate another plant so its fresh. Fem seed keeps it all females for the most part. but if grafting it on I would do a full separation from one root stalk to the other vs twisting them together and merging trunks. Check out youtube for how to videos
