Beeswax extract is as safe as it gets and can be certified organic, at least the stuff I use is.. It is not a PGR. Chemical shit might be a whole different kettle of fish though.

1-Triacontanol (n-triacontanol) is a fatty alcohol of the general formula C30H62O, also known as melissyl alcohol or myricyl alcohol. It is found in plant cuticle waxes and in beeswax. Triacontanol is a growth stimulant for many plants, most notably roses, in which it rapidly increases the number of basal breaks. Internet is saying it is a PGR?? maybe? I stay away from PGRs as much as I can. weird effects and can linger in the buds, don't need to be ingesting that from my plants. Good Luck!

Never done a side by side, but have used a supplement with triacontanol for the last 30 odd years ans swear by its effectiveness.
