Hallo Leute mal eine frage ich fang nun nach 4 Jahren wieder mit dem Growen an und hab noch meinen alten Aktivkohlefilter.
Meine frage verlieren die dinger an filterleistung durch das rumstehen ?
Filter war eingepackt im Orginal Karton.
Kann man das vorab testen ?

if stored in a dry place, i'd wager it has a good shelf life? worth a google for that sort of simple reference info.
they do lose effectiveness with use.

I agree, should be fine if it was kept on a dry place. high RH decreases carbon filters effectiveness.
I it was stored when it was kinda damp it might have a bad smell but should be gone after running it for a while. if its all metal can pop it in the oven at 350 for 1hr as a refresh. but it will release all the smells. and some filters have plastic seals/washers in them and they are not good in the oven.
