It depends. You could go for a complete multi bottle recipe but it’s expensive and common trap for growers to be exploited. I used to have 12-13 different bottles but I’ve found that you don’t need it all. A good knowledge is better than anything. But I’ll give you some options from budget to expensive. I am only talking synthetic nutrients and growing in coco primarily. Budget Cal mag. Needed if in coco Base nutrient: canna a&b is good value and can be used throughout And pk13/14 by canna Then you can add a biostimulant boost. A root stimulator Silica Moving up you could have a base nutrient for veg and another for flower. The pk boost could be 3 bottles. An early flower a mid flower and a late flower ripener You can add vitamins. Humic and fulvic acids. Carbohydrates Beneficial microbes . If you look at a nutrient company website at one of their feed charts and go through each product you will get a picture of what you COULD give them. Advanced nutrients is a company that has about 20 bottles in a recipe. I strongly advise you don’t fall for their snake oils I have had much better results since I backed off a few things. All depends if the nutrients are well rounded, some need extra Mg and Ca, others need micros and microbes. most are fine with just the base lineup veg + bloom CANNA is a good brand, they have extra products like enzymes and pk boosters but they are not really needed. I like to add in microbes and fluvic acid. but I grow in soil vs soilless. If any product is a advertised as a flushing agent its mostly useless, Most products that say they boost terpenes and stuff are also almost always useless, they are just K boosters. I don't think PK boosters are needed all that much, if you switch from a veg to bloom formula 100% not needed, if all you have is a veg formula then adding in PK boost will turn it into a bloom formula essentially but will need to ensure it has adequate micro nutrients.. Just keep it stupid simple for your first few grows, Grow + Bloom If its in coir look at getting CaMg as coir is special and uses a lot of that, cation exchange sites and such. Water with runoff. When you more comfortable growing look into enzymes and other things if your having some issues in the roots. Good Luck!
