9 week plant going on week 11, what may be happening?

I have a 9 week purplematic CBD plant from royal queen seeds. Its harvest week should have been 3/6/24 and it’s still growing right now on week #11. Is this normal? Can this happen? That plant is not in shock, it’s actually pretty big and healthy by all standards.

After reviewing the site and others grows. The longest I seem was 21 weeks. Your plant looks like it is already stretching. Environment will effect how fast it grows. If you are going inside, and outside with it regularly, that is not recommended. Grow it in one place or the other. I would continue your current schedule with no change. If you go another 3 weeks and she don't have any pistils showing then I would consider light change. At The rate she is going, she will produce a good yield if you don't cut light times to 12/12 ever. Also if she don't start in a few weeks I would be contacting RQS.

probably not an autoflower at this point... sorry. treat it like a photoperiod and in 7-10 days if you see preflowers, it's almost certainly a photoperiod. some autos can have an extended vege period, but they are usually advertised as such.. usually named "XL" or "XXL" autos and correlating longer estimates for harvest. few go 11 weeks, if any.

Looking at Royal Queen Seeds site, this should be an Autoflower strain. Unfortunately it is not going to autoflower for you and you will need to switch to 12/12. Not enough ruderails kept in the breeding to make it auto. If space has become an issue you can always start LSTing the branches down or topping your main branches before you flip into 12/12. I hope this helps.
