I have a question about hydroponics. Can anyone tell me if it is normal for white flakes to form in the water with hydroponics? They stick to the wall of the bucket and to the roots. They fall off when take out the net pot. Is it mould or is it from the fertilizer? 😰

Sounds like a precipitate is forming or minerals are developing and flaking off then getting stuck in the root mass. Try placing a pantyhose aorund one of the spouts in the res and see if that catches it all. Its fairly low resistance so should not cause any issues. but I doubt its mold. that stuff is normally black or grey from my experence.
