Saludos.

Bud rot is not caused by the roots. Bud rot is typically because of too much moisture and not enough airflow. It can already very easy so be careful. Turn any fans off, start removing all effected branches. Even though you may only see it on a few buds, trim all the ones around that area too. The spores are microscopic and chances are they have spread to surrounding areas that you cannot see yet till it is fully colonized. Turn up your airflow, try to get humidity down if you can. Bathtub for a flower bed… unless you somehow have holes in the bottom for drainage, not the best choice. Hope this helps.

the bud rot spreads thru air movement and by you touching uninfected buds after touching the ones with bud rot high humidity levels and excess moisture is the culprit in this case . Carefully remove any rot infected material and bin it. the rest if mold free can be harvested normally ie as soon as possible Good luck mate

Atmospheric humidity causes bud rot. By watering more than usual you may have caused this due to the extra evaporation. There is no need to drown your plants with gallons and gallons of water as a "flush", this is widely misunderstood. "Flushing" means removing nutrient salts from the plants internal system, not drowning the roots. All that is required is to stop all fertilizers and just give plain water for the last 10-14 days before harvest. This way the plant "flushes" any nutrient salts out of itself naturally. Giving gallons and gallons of water does not make this occur any faster. Never smoke any mouldy cannabis, it can lead to lung disease/damage. Carefully cutting away the affected buds and throwing them in the garbage is the only option for mouldy buds.

that spreads through the air, not the roots. remove any infected parts. cut liberally around them to be safe. It's already spreading if you can see it. i'd strongly suggest not smoking any of that bud, lol. it won't kill you and maybe if desperate.. but if you can avoid it without extreme inconveneience, screw that shit, lol. people think they can't see it it is fine but that is not the case. if it is early on in the infection it is one thing, but those spores are spreading constantly and it takes a while before you can see it with your eyes. "Washing" buds or spraying it with soemthing does not clean it. the surface is not the only place it exists. it has growth under the surface too. climate control is likely the cause -- high rh or hitting dewpoint etc.
