the little butt hole looking bits are old nodes that have been pinched off. nothing to worry about.
The pinkish purple discolorations could be from a few things, Dyes from fertilizers or something touching it. a microbe growing on it. maybe magnesium deficiency.
It does seem extra woody for its size. wonder if its healthy.
