Should you ever store buds with humidity packs?

Hi again! I had picked my last grow a couple of weeks ago. After having it hang to dry, I am still curing it. Question, is there anytime you would recommend using a hydration pack so buds don't dry out to a crisp over time? If so, what relative humidity, 62%? Thanks! Mr. STM

generally its only beneficial AFTER the curing process has been completed after curing the use of humidity packs will keep the buds at an ideal balance between dry and moist plus helping to retain terpenes

I've heard mixed reviews on storing them long term. I store them long term. The ones using salt are best Biodiva does that. the Intergra ones using glycerine I find don't work as well and its harder to tell if they ran out as they always feel gelly. I prefer 55-58% over 62% but its all good. If you worried about them place them in the jar for the first 2 months till everything is normalized then take them out. As long as your not opening that jar to much should be fine.

Yes, storing bud with Boveda packs in Mason Jars is a very popular method. 58%-62% will be fine. I would recommend Grove Terploc bags over the Boveda packs, the Terploc bags do the same thing but they are cheaper, last a lot longer, and don't need to buy containers.
