Broke roots while transplanting autoflower

I placed an autoflower in an too small pot because i didnt know that autos should not be transplanted. As the roots reached the bottom of the pot i had to transplant the plant but the roots got stuck and broke. Now theres 2-3cm roots left. Is there a chance she survives?

Yes there is. Give it plenty of water for now since it will be in shock. You may want to give it a good foiler spray tonight when the lights are going out. It is likely that there will be a bit of a stunt. Since it is an autoflower, you are on the clock in veg to get as much growth as possible before flower. So likely you will be smaller then what would have been if its roots had not been compromised. Non the less, it will be ok and should recover and grow for you. Hope this helps.

It will be in transplant shock. it should survive just fine though. Give it time. This kinda of stress might prompt it to go into early flower though. Autos tend not to handle stressors very well.
