What I would do first is release it for now. Then unravel your fabric pot and put more medium in. This is like it being put in a bigger pot without transplanting. This will in effect shorten the stem. Don’t fill up further than an inch from bottom leaves.
So now it will be growing straight up. ATM you have node 1 (1 blade) node 2 (3 blade) node 3 will have 5 blades. So grow it to about node 5 or 6 and then bend, top, scrog or whatever you like. Hope this helps some

Since the plant is not yet that robust, I would be careful when tying it off, but starting now is not a bad idea.
I usually start training in the third week.

Yes wait for main stock to get thicker so it can with stand being tugged also connect another twist tie to other side of pot pulling stem opposite direction to support it
