m0useanswered grow question 2y ago If its all you got, it will work, just not as well as a good light will thats suited for the tent size. I use a 2x4 as well and run longer lights.
That light is not pulling 2000W from the wall. all its led's have the potential to use 2000W but the driver won't deliver that. running led's at 100% will burn them out as well, its shit marketing to take advantage of people who don't know any better yet. Most good LED's run at 10-25% power and use multiples diodes for longevity and spectrum. Givene their light is purple their spectrum output is also way off. They are showing a output that is not their lamp.
One amazon review said the light is only pulling 40W, another web page selling the light says it only consumes 200W, One way to find this out is by looking at the driver it should tell you what its rated for and what its converting it into. but an outlet monitor is best just kinda useless past its first use. Could also email them to find true wattage pulled if you would believe them.
Return it if you can and get something else from a better brand. for similar amount of money.
I have been using my Medic Grow mini sun 2 lights and they do well. I was sponsored by them so take my review with a grain of salt, but for a basic light with no fancy features they do well for the cost point. The guy on you tube who reviews lights "Migro" did a review on them and it went over well.
Good Luck!
