I own one and want a second. I only use it to do a dry cure cycle. Which is adjustable to customize based on where you want numbers. It is extremely low maintenance once it's loaded. Plus the piece of mind knowing i don't have to monitor the process. I don't store in mine. I go to a Grove bag for longer curing time as I use it. Mine was 1700 usd. I use to think the way the others answered. It works pretty good. I run a 8 day process. Then i grove bag it. Then the smell of the flower gets really strong in a Grove bag in about a day. It loses it smell in process and seems wrong. I did a series on my YouTube of using it first time. Mine is running right now even.

Unessesary, over priced and looking for suckers to get them to open their wallets.
Home curing if done right will give you exactly the same results without emptying your bank account.
Nothing you can do that will change ordinary buds into super buds by placing them inside of some sort of "magic box".

In my opinion products like that are a bit overkill. Normal "room temp" conditions are just fine for drying. If you wanted to store your bud long term in the box without jarring/bagging up the buds then I guess it makes more sense, though not really practical. Basically what you're wanting to build is a walk-in humidor. Google has lots of DIY ideas for those.
