Hey guys, I wonder if I should already repot the Girls? Earth is nearly dry, and I am not sure if I should water them and Leave them Like this for some More Time or Repot into the Last Pot.
Also thinking about turning the light from 25% to 50% power.
I don't think its time yet.
I like to see a bit more root mass when looking at the base of the pot. I find that if you transplant to early and the root ball is not well formed the soil can fall apart. If the soil does fall apart it can damage the existing roots witch adds to transplant shock and sets things back.
It's ok to water soil based grows just don't over do it, I don't get runoff with soil grows but watered them tons of times before transplant and after. When my plants are established "full root mass in the pot" they will drink much faster vs a transplanted pot. Its very easy to over water transplanted plants with soil and the first water after transplant normally lasts twice or three times as long till it becomes established in that new pot.
If you feed with liquid nutrients in soil with no runoff its normally feed-water-water or feed-water every other cycle it needs water. and if you feed with amendments you tend to top dress once every 3-4 weeks.
Good Luck!
Definitely re-pot soon, those small cups will limit root growth quite quickly and this will slow plant development.
In future, try and use pots that are not transparent, clear pots are really bad, roots need complete darkness to grow properly.
I'd wait a bit longer. From what your diary says, you just repotted a few days ago because your soil was too hot. Give them a chance to grow and fill out their roots a bit first.
So my general rule is when I see roots on the sides then it’s time to up pot. So if you can see that then you defiantly can up pot now.
A little trick is to take your container with the plant in it and fill the new pot with dirt all around the existing pot that has the plant in it. This leaves the absolute perfect hole that you can easily plop and drop your plant directly into it.
Also, now is the time to Apply Mykos to your roots. The beneficial fungi expand the roots reach 100x or more. I use Garden Xtreme Mykos when I transplant.
As far as the light goes, this really should be measured and not guessed. Download a PPFD app on your phone and get a reading at the plant. You should be around 350-400 PPFD for 18/6 light schedule. Then tune your intensity / heights of the light to get you into that range.
I hope this helps.
