Wachstum in der Blüte

The plants are now transitioning to flowering. Do the plants continue to grow, and how big will they get? Are Indicas autoflowering? I've read that Sativas and Indicas grow differently afterwards.

It looks like you are nearing the flowering point of this plants life. You can expect the plant to start growing like crazy and double if not more in size. This will happen in the next 2-3 weeks. Also, this really comes down to the plant genetics as well. An Indica dominate plant does not stretch nearly as much as a Sativa. Some Sativa Autoflower strains will nearly 4x their height in flower. The growth will slow after week 3 usually and the energy is then driven to bud formation. But they do still grow more just not as much as the first few weeks of flower. I suggest you do a quick search on the strain here and see how much growth happened with others during flower. I hope this helps.

Hey Blumentopf, From experience, they usually grow for about the first 2-3 weeks of flowering. Indicas typically double in height, while Sativas can generate up to 300% growth during that time. In the first weeks of flowering, you have the opportunity to bend the plant down (LST). From week 4-5 of flowering, you should make sure that the side branches can support the weight of the buds; I use Plantjojos for this. Happy growing!

Typically you can expect a plant to double in size after it goes into flower though of course other factors come into play too. Some sativas stretch more even. Your seed suppliers generally give you a rough estimate of the average ending plant size.

Without further information, it's hard to say. Autoflowering plants can range from 30cm to 120cm depending on the strain, growing method, and training technique. Autos also grow during the flowering stage... but this can vary greatly as mentioned before. It can be limited to 10-15cm, but with sativas, it can also reach up to 30cm. If it gets too tight upwards in the tent, use a net or gently tie the tops down a bit. I'm currently training my plants and using LST clips and a net. Good luck and happy smoking!

Hey, yes they are still growing in the flowering stage 🌼 Indica is not automatically an autoflower, you have to distinguish between feminized seeds and auto seeds. A Sativa will usually grow taller than an Indica. I hope I could help you. Best regards!
