What to do about pests?
Can you do anything preventively so that you hopefully don't have any problems in the garden at all?

Outdoors? Good luck....companion plants can help. Predator insects. Perimeter treating.
Indoors? Mostly try not to foster environments they like. Keep plants in a more controlled space like a tent where you can filter air intakes, etc.
