Search on Amazon Macro Lens Phone... should be the cheapest option (or buy a digital microscope) :)

That looks good enough to me. You can see that sooner of then are swelling, with until you see at least some amber there before thinking about harvest, when you start to see some amber try to starve the plant of water

There are clip-on mobile phone microscopes. I personally never used one.

w/e you used to take that pic in the question looks to be doing a fine job. Your FOV and depth is reduced a lot when taking micro pics. I use a small clip on lens that has wide and macro options. Nothing fancy is needed. it does I think 15x or 30x A tripod and proper lighting is more important to get the pic right vs the magnification value. Good Luck

Hi! Personally I use a cheap Amazon Jewellers Loop. Anything above 25x should be fine. The key is to wrap the magnifying glass / jewellers loop directly onto your smartphone. Zoom all the way in with your camera on the phone, which will in turn increase magnification of the jewelers loop. https://www.amazon.ca/VIVOSUN-Loupe-White/dp/B07VK287M6/ref=asc_df_B07VK287M6/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459345866293&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4146691360215337450&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000945&hvtargid=pla-834424871429&mcid=669e4f8e4edb3827beac012306a5474d&th=1
