Don't know if you ever got an answer...but no. Those look like preflower calyxes. If you look closely at the first picture you can even see the stigma, or "hairs", coming out of the calyx.
Rest easy knowing those are 100% not pollen sacks.
They are actually called stipules and develop right around the base of leaf stalks. They are pretty much just small appendages and nothing to worry about.
