Your "friends" only answer each others questions and no once else, but if you all asking questions how to grow and not taking in any outside information its not likely to improve. In the off chance you are not the same person here is an answer. I don't like growing in cardboard as I find it molds easily and that's not something I want at the root base of a seedlings. Old yogourt cups or cut off plastic bottles work better IMO.
