Somebody knows if early trichomes is a sign of female? Or do male and female cannabis produce the same amount of trichomes?

Trichomes play no part in sexual identification of cannabis plants and have no link to determining the sex of a plant. Males however produce trichomes in only limited quantities, maybe 5-10% of that of a female, but not always. There is no way to say for sure that because a plant has trichomes early, it must be female....but it would be quite rare for a male to have them this early, but not impossible. The only way to tell the sex of a plant with 100% certainty, is to wait until the plant produces pre-flowers.

Noo, male grow far less trichomes and they less potent. Male signs show also earlier and look like a flowersack without pistills and has a stem. Male plants dont start to glitter/shine what ever you wanna call the amount of trichomes, the leaf appreance doesnt change much and not that early. Maybe in late flowering when u have about 40 pollensacks hanging on a stem there could be some change. But 80% of the plant looks just like it did in growth plus pollensacks/flowers
