Just try them. Autos are much more easy to handle in all factors. They only minus is the fixed growth time that is limited to mostly 3 weeks. I honestly dont get why many grow them, they train them pretty clueless imo and destroy their potential to become something you could call a plant. Not that you cant do it, but you need to hit the right time and nodes for it to make it work. So training is way more complex, because you cant and dont wanna stress your plant or it will be a midget. They also better if you leak powers in your lightsituation. You can give them the DLI that photoperiods need in 12 hours over 24hours instead. (would go 22hours max tho to give your LED some break, cooldown and stuff) They overall smaller plants since they flower fast, but have tuned genetics and they keep getting better. Strawberry pie Auto Gorilla Punch Auto are both banging and beautiful af

I hate autos, they do not offer anything that can not already be achieved with superior, more stable photoperiod plants. Autos are just the latest fad with bombardment advertising campaign. They really are for people who can't adjust timers! I have been growing for 40 years and tried autos on and off for 5-6 years before giving them away as a joke. If you are growing indoors, they use a shit ton more electricity each crop too. All the hype about being ready in 8-10 weeks is generally BS, most take 12-16 weeks..........the same amount as photoperiod plants. Do the math.....autos = 12 weeks at 18 hours of lights on. Photos = 4 weeks at 18 hours then 8 weeks at 12 hours. Growing photos, you save 336 hours of lights on time compared to autos, over a typical 12 week cycle. I know which electricity bill I would rather be paying. Autos are not anything special! And unless you are greatly skilled or lucky, they are way smaller with smaller yields too. Why wait 3 months to harvest an ounce or two, when in the same time frame you could harvest 6-16 ounces from a photoperiod plant?
