how good is this light for growing one or two plants? i dont understand the conversion chart on the side whats the wattage per sq ft?

I wouldn’t buy that. There’s no dimmer on this thing. It’s full on or full off. Then you have to play guessing games with light distance. I suggest you set aside 350 dollars for a decent grow light. Not some Amazon special nobody has heard about.
Buy cheap get cheap results. Then you’ll be spending money again replacing the crap you bought.
