There are some leaves turning bright and yellow. Its actually more yellow than it looks on the pictures. Is this a sign of some kind of deficiency or natural at this point? Would you cut them off?

Hello grout893, this is a Nitrogen deficiency indeed like the grower below mentioned. But not because you do not give enough but due nutrient lockout. Make sure that you provide the nutrient solution with a pH 6.2 value during this phase of the grow. When the pH is too high or low you will get nutrient lockouts like this one. You can best use Biobizz Bio pH- and use a cheap pH tester to prevent nutrient in the future. Happy Growing! 💚

lack of food, too small pot. would increase N part 10-20% , would feed more often. never take off damaged leaves, till they are totally yellow or wilted. small root system cant support big plant , so plant cannibalize some leaves, redirects energy. doubt you have any ph issues, calcium would show up first, not nitrogen .

Since nitrogen is a mobile nutrient and your plats start turning yellowish at the bottom leaves i would say its a nitrogen defiency. Give some nitrogen… but be careful to not overdo it. Some little trick i learned from a long year grower which actually works amazingly is to give some of urine mixed with water at a 1:10 to a 1:5 mixing ratio. Sounds crazy weird but it always did the trick on my plants. But please just do it once in a grow, since it has a LOT of nitrogen in it. Cheap and easy but only for the blunt people lol

Im new to this but i had the same yellow look.I assumed its the lack of nitrogen in the soil. Do you have sufficient nitrogen in you soil?
