One bud in an ounce? If i grow it do i have to treat it like a regular seed

Go for it man! The worst case is it's a male or herms out. But what's better than free experience, and an opportunity to learn and experiment. You've got nothing to lose aside from using a bit of soil (which you can reuse if frugal). I'm currently growing some bag seed - loving the process.
