Yes! And the oxygen in the air will air prune the roots. This will cause the roots to develop more offshoots. So the fabrique pots do not only help the roots to more access of oxygen but also help developping the roots inside the pots.

yes, especially if fabric was used not once, washed or just thin. nothing to worry, light and air will prune them automatically.

I imagine if the fabric is thin enough then yes, the roots can go through the pot. But for me, it has never happened that the roots go through.
