Any leaf that you remove that could receive light is less energy the plant can make from absorbing light.. this will equal less bud production. They are your solar panels. The only time I’d recommend removing them is if you have very dense leaves and humidity issues, and/or bottom of plant. You can always try tucking or bending leaves out of the way. Lollipopping the bottom isn’t terrible as that gives airflow and most of those leaves won’t get light. They do still help feed the plant though. I’d just say- have a reason to remove a leaf. Don’t just remove it to remove it :)

I didn't even answer your question. That's quality blueberry og for ya,.Looks good, I certainky wouldn't remove anymore. Lots of folks have been taught not to take any off so they aren't wrong in saying you shouldn't do it but I just got 210 dry grams off a shiskaberry and between 230-150 of several blueberry og so they clearly do well but I'm not sure they wouldn't of done that anyway.

Talk about a contested topic. All the old skool guys from the 70s,the books I first read say only remove some of the bottom canopy, lollypopping to help with air flow but Kyle Kushman started writing for soft secrets 15ytrs ago saying strip the majority of leaves off your plant, and when its in flower of all times. Jorge cerventes must of gone insane when he first read that, the author of the best selling grow book on the planet "the bible" they call it.He a guy from the 70s and talks about stress but they clearly do really well with it which is why I did my last one which finished 3wks ago. It looks pretty similar to yours but mine was much more indica with twice as many leaves and shorter internodes, distance between leaf sets where your buds start. Looks like youve only just swithed to flower. Looks like youve left it late as they're very tall. It looks very hybrid/sativa like and may stretch another foot once it enters flower. Make sure you've got enough height.

Hello Mekster, no this is enough! The only reasons to defoliate are, 1. When they block the airflow. 2. When they block the light from a huge part of the plant. 3 when light doesn't reach them at the bottem. Next to these 3 reasons it is just harming the plant and decreasing the yield. Happy Growing! 💚

You can do the complete bottom 1/3 of your plant. branches and leafs everything that still on this height can go. Every leaf that reaches the size of your hand or close you can cut on top too, they will overshadow a big part or your plant. Also try to bend her in all directions a bit you got space left in the tent, bending her is better than cutting her into pieces
