Hello everyone there’s approx 50% orange pistils scattered all over the buds is it safe to assume i can chop in about 2 weeks ? I don’t think the buds gonna get more swollen at this point tho.

Honestly the orange pistils are an indicator, but the Milky or Amber color on the trichromes is what really indicates where you are at. No MILK, No Amber, No chop. milky, Amber ish, chop zone

Its not about the buds swelling, it is all about the (chemical) maturation process of the trichomes. When there are 98-99% brown pistils, you will be entering the harvest zone. 2 weeks seems about the right time frame.

Less. They'll all be otange within a week.It makes very little difference from 50% to all of them. Most people wouldn't notice anything in the effect.Especially the new strains as they're all so strong. They say that the difference between clear and amber is amber being more sedative but even in clones most people aren't going to notice and same strain seeds vary so much from one another even if they'rer the same pheno. You'd of got blasted on it 2wks ago, lol. We've got so anal about it.
