Hey friends, I wanted to ask if you could tell me when the best time to harvest my plants is? I'm still unsure and am looking forward to your opinions.

I read your diary there. I think you’re right on the money in your comments, I think definitely 1-2 weeks away from chopping. You’ve still got lots of white pistils that haven’t turned orange. I would take this time now to inspect your buds daily and take note of how many tricromes are still clear vs cloudy and how many amber there are. You can show us pictures all you want but undoubtedly your naked eyes are really the best way to really see what is going on. So typically it depends on the grower and when they decide to chop. There’s a two week window where it’s ready where the beginning stage all tricromes are cloudy and few amber, she’s ready to chop. Now at this stage the buds are at their peak potential. You can also choose to let the buds ripen further and wait until you see more amber tricromes. This will decrease your maximum bud effects but will further develop your flavour profile and turn your bud into a more couch lock type of effects. So it’s really up to you and what you want out of your precious harvest. Me personally I like to harvest where I see 50 percent amber and 50 percent cloudy tricromes. I don’t get overly bothered by the slight decline in potency as I probably won’t notice when I’m smoking it but I will notice a more developed flavour. Some growers will pull when all cloudy. Some will go 20 percent amber and 80 percent cloudy. Some will go all amber and every different ratio in between. But yeah try to inspect them daily and watch how it progresses and train your eyes to see the visible cues she’s putting out. So I think your window will be open in two weeks and you could probably push it up to three and half weeks. If you still see clear tricromes she’s not ready. Enjoy your harvest man!
