If you plan to remove the bananas, first find out why your plants are stressed; otherwise, it will never stop. One of my plants also developed bananas (due to lollipopping), but she is slowly producing fewer bananas each day (2-3 pieces), which is manageable. It's important to know that with bananas, they don't open up further; the pollen comes directly out of them. So don't wait for them to start opening or anything. The sooner you remove them, the better.
