Hello Waynewhiteski420, You want to trim them good before you close and seal the jars. You want the buds to keep an stable humidity from 62% in the jar to prevent mold but still let the buds be able to process the sugars while curing. You van not use the extra moist from the leaves and from the sticks inside the jars. This will cause mold and other humidity problems inside the jar. And opening the jar will let the buds dry out and stop the curing process. My advice, take a spliff and start trimming those beautiful buds that is your reward from growing the plants. And adding a Boveda 62% humidity pack is always handy to make sure that you keep the humidity around 62% Happy Smoking Buddy!

Since you ask yourself, just from a psychologic perspective: Get that shit done and clear your head from it

Its a breedingstation for mold if its completly dry and if not, it raises RH which also can lead to mold. Chances are low, but dont risk it. Trim that shit off. Atleast big leaves and stems. everything that starts looking necrotic with time Good luck with it and enjoy the smoke 👽

Personally, I'm a bit of a lazy trimmer. I'll remove the bigger stuff but often leave my buds a little shaggy going into the jars and just clean it up as I break it up instead of sculpting them down. If it's dried enough it's not gonna matter either way. It's more for looks, aka bag appeal, than anything really. If you tumble your buds in your jars when you burp them it helps knock stuff off too. Just remember to save your "trash" for extracts/edibles.

I'm in agreement with the others. To make sure the curing is right from the start then trim everything before jars. Yes it can be a pain trimming everything but it's worth it.

Hey , Me personal do it as one Job . Its always nice to get Jobs done as fast as possible :) At least: Roll a doobie, listen to your fav. Music and get it done . Plus : Its better (my opinion) for your buds when every „unnecessary things are gone for humidity etc. And ofc the overall Look :) Extra : you dont Need to trim before you wanna grab in those beautiful glasses to roll one :) Much Love

I personally trim it nice and proper before it goes into jars. If you wanna trim as you go along then do that. At this point there’s no right or wrong. Trimming as you go along is a good way to avoid trim prison I guess. But I don’t wanna be messing around with trimming every time I wanna smoke a joint.
