Hey guys, wondering what causes fluffy airy buds, I grew this northern lights auto in coco, under a 600w led grow light (exlenvce) harvested about 3 ounces. Smokes great with a nice high only issue is it's not as dense as I'd like. Any tips? Thanks

Hey man! We all start somehwere nice set up and the buds look decent they will always get better if you make the right adjustments! As for your question airy buds can be a lot of different things, the most common is light, especially the red spectrum. I see you have 1 - 600 watt led in A 2x4 tent correct ? I think you need one more or another 300 watt. The only way you would be able to tell is a PAR meter. Expensive but almost essential to figure out your light power! My first try would be try lowering your lights a few more inches during flower stage and see if your buds get thicker on your next grow. also limiting your plants to almost directly under your lights might help because there will be considerably less light on the edges of your tent with just one light in there. Option two buy a PAR meter. It could be a lot of things though man we’d need a good diary to understand! Soil lights humidity temp watering can all affect the buds in the end. Good luck and happy growing.

With a 600watts temps usually go high if you don’t have the aeration stuff and the glass, genetics also play a role but you should try and keep the temps a little lower next time especially at the flushing period ( before harvest ) a little colder then usually. I’ve heard there is also a product that can help you obtain denser buds but forgot the name 😅 maybe have some research if you’re looking for the product. Hope it helped you for next grow buddy
