Grey Wolf pleased to meet you! Looking through your diaries I saw a strain you grew three years ago. CHEMDOGGING! The grow I am finishing up is a strain called COMPOUND V a hybrid feminized autoflower from Night Owl Seeds. It’s a cross between,Chem City Blues, Chemdogging,and Vanilla Fizz F2. Chemdog being in my top tier of favorite strains, I was thrilled to find these from Night Owl. Quick history lesson; Working for a landscaping company in SW Florida in 1991 after lunch a co-worker pulled out a doobie and looked at me with a huge grin on his face and spoke the single word, Chemdog. STONED!!! Holy Shit, for the next four hours I didn’t have a care in the world and spent the rest of the afternoon with the same shit eating grin on my face that Rich had on his face when he pulled out that joint. Lucky for me he continued to light up one of elbows for as long as I could remember. So as it turned out Rich new the guy who brought those seeds to Florida with him for Massachusetts that he got from an oz. of weed he bought at a Grateful Dead concert. End of lesson. Looks like yours was a photo period. Daz must have crossed it with an auto somewhere. So my plants are little gangbusters. Just over two feet tall they’re the shortest plants I’ve ever grown but just beautiful, like miniature versions of there photo parents. Great tight nodes producing large flowers and colas especially for plants of their size The girls are entering the last few days before harvest and they tend to go back and forth with smelling very pungent to not so much. Question. Why does this happen? Is it normal?Should I harvest when smelling pungent? Also do you think there’s much stock in the practices before you harvest. Period of blue added spectrum? Period of darkness? Cold water flush?FarRed? Love any and all feedback Happy g

Thanks wolf. I think Jack Herer is an excellent oil strain. Only problem is I don’t think I have the height needed to grow this tall girl. Maybe if mainlined?

hey there, you reacted on my grow question. Its no root issues because I took the plant out and inspected it, nice white no slime or stink and the plant has this from week 3, also no water issues , the water you see is run off after watering and the first 2 inch are clay pebbles. Thats the thing, no beginner mistakes and nitrogen or PH ( run off , OK) it was all under 1.8 EC. Flushed her many times now, this is going on for 8 weeks or so. Frustrating, but she is underdeveloped but smells nice and will be smoked!! THNX anyway, happy growing.

Thanks for the response to my question. Was looking at your supersoil grow and it looks awesome! I'm leaning towards trying something like that for my outdoor crop this summer. Thanks for taking the time to detail your grow. Will just have to see what is available here on the other side of the planet as we are currently in covid19 lockdown. Happy growing!
