What does PK do and why should i only add it in one week during flower. Why not longer if my flower takes longer to mature?

It definitely makes a slight difference, I used to use it when I was doing coco coir runs, I used it in every feed for a week when it was time for the buds to start building mass, use it with canna boost and it does a bit for overall yield, I wouldn't say it's necessary though, you can get decent results just with a and b if you've got good water

O have not really used a PK boost. they say it helps but I don't see much of it. I also mostly grow in soil and don't do any soilless outside. Indoors where you feed with runoff might be a better option. Give plants a nice balanced formula and you don't need any boosting. Most canna brands have a nice balanced formula of grow vs bloom. One good use for PK boosters is to tun a veg nutrient into a bloom one by boosting the P and K. Eg if you use a 4-4-4 for veg. add in PK booster and its now 2-8.5-9 at 50/50 mix. The hydro shop guys I talk up say they like to use it just befoing going into flower and the following 3 weeks into flower. but nothing before or after that.

Some strains, especially high yielding ones need much phosphorous and potassium during bud development. Especially when they are getting bigger (2-3 weeks in flower). PK 13-14 is designed for these 2weeks. After that cut it or change your nutrient solution, because too much PK in final ripening can make her prone to bud rot. Also many booster have extra pk, so if combined you can overshoot quickly. Also you need strong lights when giving high amount of fertilizer or she can't convert it and will get over fertilized. Much success 🤞and Happy Growing

Flowering npk ratio is 1-2-3. In bulking your plant want mainly p and k. Very low n. Nitrogen can hinder bud development.
