I leave tomorrow for two weeks, my plants are both in their ninth week. could I cut them or better do it when I return? they are almost ready. I'm afraid that if I leave them for another two weeks most of the trichomes will turn amber.

Some buds it better than no buds they could die in two weeks or mold if you have no one to take care of them. and they could also over dry in those two weeks and be ruined anyway. you gotta find someone who can help you

Leave them for the 2 weeks. Think of fruit that's unripe. An orange can taste bitter and horrible a few weeks early and amazing when it's ripe. Harvesting too early is a common mistake. Don't do that to yourself.

Oregano already said it. If you have someone with a sense for plants to keep an eye on them, wait. Otherwise your plants will probably mold or something. 2weeks are a long time and I have to control the area via opening windows, dehumidifiers etc. So my plants won’t survive a week without me

They still need another 2 weeks of maturation . If you have somene trustworthy to look after them while you are away, wait, but if you are just hoping they will be ok until you return, it would be much safer to harvest them now.

100% wait, aslong as you can get someone to water them while you're away, definitely still some development development left, those 2 weeks will do wonders!

If you want max potency (max Thc) you can cut her down. All trychoms milky, few amber. Waiting 2 weeks will give you more sedating weed and fatter buds. But also, all now amber trychoms, will be over ripe in 2 weeks, low in cannabinoids and terps. Much success 🤞and Happy Growing
