Springtails are only sometimes a problem when germinating seeds in soil, otherwise they are quite helpful. They eat rotting organic matter in the soil and poop out nutrients your plant can use. Give them some mulch and they will convert it for you. The only time they are a problem is when their numbers get super high and they run out of food. Just let the soil dry out a bit and their numbers will quickly go back down.

I would sprinkle some diatomaceous earth as a top dressing and let that soil dry out and it should take care of them. Also a good source of silica for stronger stems.
