You got an other 4 weeks to go still. Week 6 of flower is usually the time to start inspecting your buds for tricromes. If they are still clear it still needs more time. Once you have a majority of milky/cloudy tricromes your harvest window is open. You can choose to harvest where all milky tricromes means your bud is at peak potency and a more energetic high. Or you can wait a little longer and have some tricromes turn amber. Now when they start going amber, potency is on a slight decline but your flavour profile will increase and have a more couch lock high. Some growers want to see 20% amber to 80% milky and every other ratio in between. It really all comes down to personal preference and what you want to achieve out of your buds. So when they are all milky the harvest window is open and you can stretch it out an other 7-14 days all depending on how much amber you’re looking for. I personally like to see 50/50 amber to milky. That’s when I pull a plant. I would suggest getting a pocket microscope or a jewellers loupe and then you’ll be able to inspect your buds and train your eyes to see these visual cues. It’s pretty easy to identify a clear vs milky tricrome and even easier when they go amber. Inspect many different places on the plant and sugar leaves are not a good indicator as the tricromes on sugar leaves mature faster than what is on the actual flower. Your naked eye is the best way to look at tricromes. Hope that helps buddy. If you’ve got more questions don’t hesitate to send a DM.
