pheliceanswered grow question 2y ago No worries, this is not a deficiency. This is a plant pigment called "anthocyanins" that is found in many types of fruit (apple, blueberry, etc.) and is also present in our beloved cannabis plant. At least in many current strains. The lady is outside, I assume!? Because cold is one of the main triggers for the purpling of plants.
Light can also promote coloring (I’ve had purpling encouraged with violet LED light, which didn’t happen with the same genetics under different lighting).
However, there are now also several genetics that have been bred for this and can also show purpling under "normal" conditions.
I hope that helps you a bit... by the way, the lady looks magnificent!
