Having one last attempt at getting pollinated........the new white pistils and fresh calyxes are a survival "instinct".........and yes, it is somewhat normal.
Reducing your light by one hour can stop this from occurring if it really bothers you, otherwise just let her do her thing.

It's a deformity that happens in a few plants.
Nothing to worry about, you'll just have 1 strange shaped bud.
