Chop it or risk it.

Should I chop this beauty down early to have at least some harvest(I mean the buds r super small)? Or risk it and see what happens in the next weeks and maybe build a transparent roof to protect it?

Hello mate, i advice you to not chop now otherwise you don't ever have the effect that you desire. it's better to build the trasparent roof to protect it and to let finished at least two weeks more then you' valuate if can chop it with too many losess. Good luck and happy journey!

Way too early to harvest, these small flowers just won't do anything but give you a slight buzz. Try and protect the plant from rain and give her another few weeks to fully develop.

Week 5-6ish is quite early for harvesting. Buds are underdeveloped, trichomes nowhere near harvest ready, have never harvested that early but I now from collegues this might lead to a product with a soft and weird anxious high. I do also know the pain of bud rot from my outdoor experiments it just gets to cold and humid too early in the northern hemisphere, fast varieties and autos are a good way to go for northern outdoor growers. When I was doing outdoor in pots I was moving them in front of a house wall with a roof overhang to finish them. A transparent roof, like u said might be a good solution. I would take the risk and check your product later on with caution. Take a scope and search for web-like formations, it's sometimes hard to spot contaminated parts with the naked eye. But since you already spotted bud rot the risk is already there. Even if you choose to chop them now you should check with high caution, smoking infected buds is extremely unhealthy

That looks way too early to get anything decent IMO. She still has a while to go, needs to bulk up a lot and ripen. You know what a fruit is like if you pick it 3 or 4 weeks before it's done. Your trichomes are the same. A small unripe green orange is not close to as good as a juicy orange ripe one. I would personally rather have a small bag of ripe oranges than a huge bag of unripe oranges. Getting her a cover to stay dry won't be a bad idea.
