Has anyone tried topping autoflowers? If so can tell me from your experience, whether it's worked for you or not? I'd also like your opinion on whether you'd would recommend.

yeah do it! but do it as early as possible so she has still stime to grow and heal before flower. When cutting something, roots die too so doing it early, will kill just a small root(or sometimes nothing when doing it right)..so not much stress It has always worked out for me. I grow outdoors and sometimes a slug will top it.. but they always recover fine and make beautiful big buds! goodluck

Not something I recommend. You’re going to get answers on both sides, basically you can top them and risk it, or just LST and have a bit more peace of mind. In my opinion it’s just too risky to top a plant that you don’t know when it’s going to flower, not to mention generally speaking autos are so fragile there is a good chance you can stunt her. I would just LST personally.

If you want to use topping as a training technique you should be growing photoperiods. not that you can't get away with topping some autoflowers. They usually dont veg long enough to ever, and may actually decrease your yeilds. You can top photos all that you want and grow the plant as small or big as you want before you change the lights to 12 hours dark.

I can also recommend you, when you do a topping, to only cut the top stage with the two young pickups. When it measures barely 1 or 2 cm. It's less stressful for the plant than cutting a thicker stem like you did.

I made a topping with mine. Which worked really well. It's above the third floor. It has made me 6 branch departures and it is doing magnificently well 😊👍
