24-48h of darkness or light

TL:DR = In short, its bullshit plants can not reveg in 48hrs. It will start the process of revenging but nothing will happen as the plant can't do much in 24-48 hrs in terms of growing new leaves and reversing the whole flowering process, The light would need to be on longer to first reverse the flowering hormones in the plant that are photo sensitive before it would start later revegging thing like leaf growth, this process takes time, it spans weeks not days. And even if it could grow immediately after flip, and to be clear it can't. The rate of growth would be like any other plant and so slow. It will also not matter as the plant is about to be harvested and that will stop everything. Dead Plants flower because hormones build up in the longer nights in the absence of light. Something to do with specific wavelengths of red light. when they are gone, it starts the process and it takes time. around a week or so to build up to levels that allow it to enter bloom. Same thing when doing the opposite. It will take some time. I am a big fan of Dr.BruceBugbee, he is a researcher and knows his shit. You can also just chop em and not give anything special in terms of light. eg extra light. just cut as is, dry and cure. it will do fine. I have done darkness before harvest thinking it did something but it does not. It does cool the air a bit more and allows more terps to evaporate out but then your just diluting you final product. plants need light to make things like terps and cannaboids. extended darkness at harvest is now a myth as proper research shows its bunk.
