More likely from issues with the roots in the medium. to hot "fertilizers" or to wet and drowning.

No.............unless you have cross contaminated your plant with sap from an infected plant, there is no way it can get into your plant. However, there is something wrong, but without a diary and not knowing exactly what you may or may not be doing, this question is unanswerable.

If it's HLV, cloning it won't help. The clones will have it too though it might not display it right away. HLV symptoms won't always display in veg but the mildest of stress or even the switch to flower is often enough to bring it out. Fragile, skeletal limbs and root issue symptoms that mimic root rot and pH issues are common indicators. About the only way you MIGHT eliminate it is taking the strain back to seed, cross breed it with itself and hope you can limp it to the finish line. Bleach kills it at strong enough concentrations. It travels via water and dirty tools, so clean everything thoroughly and assume any plants in a shared space probably got it too if they sit in the same runoff or anything.

just from the looks i think it can be hlv or mites or damage from pesticides. but its impossible to tell 100% just from looks. so i have som suggestions... if this plant is replaceable i would toss it....... if you feel like you want to keep it.- it should be isolated from other plants. use a microscope to check if you can see anything on the leafs.- minimum 100xzoom if you wanna see the mites and the eggs properly. if there is nothing on the leafs then look for "good and normal" growth. clone that branch and make sure its only really vital lookin branch and dont cut too close to the messed up parts. if cloning is not an option you must cut of all messed up branches or to put it in other words: Cut the whole plant down and leave only the branch with vital growth. watch for a week or two and see if it comes back. that is my suggestion....but tbh. its a pain in the ass and if its replacable i would just let it go. cuz...if its a that good strain and pheno....like once in a lifetime pheno....u can send it into a lab and get tissue culture done to recreate a living plant without any possibility of infections or such. all you need is a leaf apparently.....

It could be wind burn. If that plant is being directly being hit with a lot of wind. If your fan is pointing over head or far away it is more than likely you just got bad seed. I'm not a virologist so I really can't say. Not sure what your plant limit is. But I would consider culling it. It sucks but if it is a virus you don't want your other plants to get infected.

I'm not pro but there is a chance. I think you will have to wait a few weeks to see how it grows more and if the leaves come back around. It might just be young and stressed but I totally see where your coming from it does look allt like photos online for that virus. I hope that's not what's happening. I think if you have more plants you might wanna toss that one just being cautious hope it works out for
