EC question on fertlizer

Everything over 1.0 mS/cm is risky for a seedling, so 5.0 mS/cm is definitely a "kill-zone". That’s way too much salt for those young roots. A few things could be happening here: • Calibration: Check your EC meter. If it hasn't been calibrated lately, it’s probably lying to you. • Unit Mix-up: Double-check if you're reading mS/cm or µS/cm. (500 µS/cm would be 0.5 mS/cm, which is actually perfect). • The Bottle is wrong: Never trust the label blindly. Always let your meter be the boss. Some brands suggest dosages for "ideal" laboratory conditions that just don't work in a real-world setup. My advice: Dilute that mix with plain water until you’re sitting at around 0.4 to 0.6 mS/cm. If you already fed them the 5.0 solution, flush the pots with PH-stable water immediately or they'll be fried by tomorrow. Btw, "milliSievert" is for radiation—you're looking for milliSiemens!
