With BioBizz light mix to more specific. Or is it a bad idea? Similar to this. 👇 https://forum.growersnetwork.org/t/hempy-buckets-a-safe-and-simple-alternative-for-the-disabled-grower/33753

as long as the medium wicks well it should be ok. Soil I think is a bad idea. its more compact and holds onto to much water. The other issue you may run into is buildup depending on your manage runoff or feed them. I did something like this on my deck called alaska grow buckets. It was ok. but I ditched the idea as it was not great for my deck. In ground is still best. Autopots are something like this but more refined.

I could see that working. Especially with LightMix. Might work even better with AllMix, but if you can keep the nutrients and introduce Microbes, I'm sure the LightMix will enjoy staying moist constantly without impacting aeration through the soil. Speaking of aeration, does the condensation process alone provide enough oxygen? Assuming you can keep the water at the proper temperature for condensation to take place.
