DWC root rot problems - should I cut off dark areas? Plant is looking healthy (Titan F1 Autoflower)

Hi all, this is my first grow. I am using canna aqua series, but have been struggling with root rot due to high res temps which are lower now (21°C, also using hypochloric acids, changing res weekly). Can't fully get rid of the rot. Should I cut these dark spots off?

Don't trip over the discoloration, it may not fully go away and might be more staining than rot. Worry more about things going slimy. When the slime shows up, that when your roots really start breaking down. If your plant looks healthy and you seem to be growing new roots I'd say you have it under control.

Hey there don't get down about it Try some floracleen or hudrogaurd stuff like that is meant to help keep the roots healthy. If you do lose the plant I suggest tring soil for a few grows
