You're growing Autos so time is a big factor in topping. I top and train as follows, 14 days after it sprouts/breaks ground, top the plant. Once the new branches have grown a little, start LST. Should be able to start LST within 7 days of topping. If you go to my Auto Tent #1 Diary, go to Week 2 Veg and you will see split pictures showing before and after topping. Those pictures will give you a good idea on where to cut your plant. Make sure to clean scissors with isopropyl alcohol before making the cut. If you top/cut more then 1 plant, cean the scissors again before cutting another plant Less chance of spreading any kind of bacteria, viruses,

Don't worry about them 1st set of leaves, they have done there job now. I'd wait a little longer before topping, maybe by the end of the week you could top.

Hey there 1st off your plant is super health like fr fr most people asking questions have a bad problem going on. You can deff top them now if you want. I'd personally let it grow just bit more idk how many banchs you want to split off from the main but I have found 3 nodes with 6 brachs is a pretty good start especially if your not going to make a whole giant plant and keep toping after the 1st time. To address what you said about the spots on the leaves I see small dots from the pictures above on the one lowers set u can see fron up top but that just seems like some old stress spots and the small leaves underneath with only 1 leave per leaf those ones are just not needed and there not getting light anymore you can definitely cut those off whenever that will cause 0 stress to the plant if anything will help it take the energy from those little leaves and put it else where.
