Hey guys, and I'm a bit scared of pruning, what can I do to get a nice wide flat canopy and get the most out of my 300w? More info's in my dairy📖 It is planned to leave them in the vegetative phase at least for this year Thanks in advance and happy growing

There's nothing to scared of when pruning, you're in veg and don't have to worry about them flowering by themselves so you can always keep them in veg until they get over an stress or anything before you go to flower. I wouldn't say you're at the point of needing to prune yet anyways. I usually lollipop (remove leaves and small growth on the lower 1/3 of the plant) 1 week or so before I flip. I see you've already done a little training, there's several different ways you can continue to train. You could put up a scrog net and tuck the tops under the net as they grow to keep the canopy level. You could continue with plant staples, clips, etc and keep training the tops to stay even. You can top any branch, not just the main, every branch you top will become 2 branches.

You did not link the diary to the question so bit harder to find it. If you want a more level canaopy then get into a SCROG net and HST. The strains your growing are Photoperiod Fems by fastbuds. So they will tolleate more stress like topping and some LST into the SCROG net.

Dont be scared. Get training now unless you want a christmas tree for next week. If its not a auto start tying it down and either top of fim. I prefer to fim as its less stressful on the plant but some plants dont take as well as others from fimming but topping is more effective but more stressfull.

Start tying it down with LST and top while in the veg stage stage. You dont have to tie sideways on first tie down gradually bring her into position. Good luck

The strategy I have the most success with using my light(490w) is the good ol SCROG. It makes spreading out your canopy easy without any tiedowns to get in the way. As long as you don't veg for too long it also does a great job of keeping most of your buds in the sweet spot of your light. Don't be scared of topping/pruning/etc, especially in veg. It will always grow back as long as you leave something behind. In my current Problem Child diary I took a small plant that was only a few weeks old and took everything but the first nodes on the bottom branches for clone cuts. That donor plant is almost a meter tall now and bushy as hell after a couple cut backs.
