Adequate calcium is also a huge factor in preventing bud rot. Most ppl Cal is tied to there N (calnit), and when they cut N at the end of the cycle they don't supplement with another Cal fertilizer. I'm using Athena ATM so I use there fade. When I was using generic nutes I would use gypsum (calcium sulfate) to help keep Cal levels up to the end, while still completely cutting nitrogen.

Hi, Given the combination of leaf issues and trichome maturity, it's a tricky situation. Here are some factors to consider: Severity of Leaf Issues: If the yellowing and crisping are widespread and severe, it might be best to harvest early to prevent further deterioration. However, if the damage is localized, waiting might be an option. Desired Effect: If the goal is a more potent, sedative effect, waiting for more amber trichomes would be advisable. If a more energetic high is desired, harvesting now could be suitable. Risk Tolerance: Waiting increases the risk of further deterioration or potential bud rot, especially if the environment is humid. Recommendations: Investigate Nutrient Deficiency: If nutrient deficiency is suspected, consider a soil or nutrient solution analysis to determine the specific needs of the plant. Adjust Watering: If overwatering is a concern, adjust the watering schedule to allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Monitor for Pests and Diseases: Regularly inspect the plant for any signs of pests or diseases and take appropriate action if necessary. Consider Harvesting Now: If the leaf issues are severe or if you're concerned about further deterioration, harvesting now might be the safest option. The plant will still provide a decent yield, although it might not be at peak potency. If Waiting: If you decide to wait, monitor the plant closely for any further deterioration. Ensure proper ventilation and humidity control to minimize the risk of bud rot. Good luck buddy.
